    1856 Flying Eagle Cent, PR20
    Famous Pattern Small Cent, Judd-180

1856 1C Snow-3 PR20 PCGS. Currently, the grading services certify all Snow-3 1856 Flying Eagle cents as proofs. This coin may only be mid-grade, but it is an important and problem-free (within the context of the PR20 grade level) representative of this key date U.S. small cent. Neither side reveals any sizeable contact marks, and the color is a generally even medium tan shade that yields to flickers of russet tinting within the left obverse denticles and in a few areas over the lower reverse. The moderate wear is evenly distributed over devices that still retain some bold striking definition.
