    Description

Proof 1856 Flying Eagle Cent, AU Details
    Snow-3 Die Pairing

1856 1C Snow-3 -- Rim Damage -- NGC Details. Proof, AU. The 5 in the date is recut on the upright, and a diagonal die line is seen below the 1. The reverse die line that partially differentiates Snow-3 from Snow-1 and -10 is faint. This is a sharp proof with a little bit of high-point friction and medium olive-brown coloration. A number of rim bumps around each side precludes a numeric grade from NGC.
