Description

1856 Flying Eagle Cent, Very Fine Details

1856 1C --Whizzed--NCS. Proof, Very Fine Details. Snow-9. The surfaces show overbrightness and the fine metal movement characteristic of whizzing. The 1 and 8 in the date show minor damage on each digit, but the all-important 5 and 6 are bold. This piece likely saw light circulation some time before its "improvement," but much detail remains, making this piece an affordable choice to complete that last key date in the Indian and Flying Eagle collection.(Registry values: N1)
