First-Year Franklin Proof
1950 50C PR67+ PCGS. CAC. Only 51,386 proof half dollars
were struck in 1950, the first year proofs were offered with the
Franklin design. This Plus-graded Superb Gem exhibits razor-sharp
definition on all design elements and the fields are hazily
reflective. The impeccably preserved surfaces show highlights of
greenish-gold toning and overall eye appeal is terrific. PCGS has
