Exemplary PR68 ★ 1950 Franklin Half
1950 50C PR68 ★ NGC. Every proof Franklin half collector is aware that the 1950 has the lowest mintage of the type and is rare in exceptional preservation. The present Superb Gem is brilliant, and the obverse displays moderate cameo contrast. The fields are undisturbed, and the strike is full except for the Roman numerals on the bell. Among those undesignated as Cameo this is the single finest NGC has certified, as the other two PR68 pieces lack a Star designation (5/09).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27VA, PCGS# 6691, Greysheet# 6860)
