Brilliant Registry-Grade Proof
1951 50C PR68★ NGC. A brilliant example, falling just short
of a Cameo designation from NGC but earning a Star in its place.
This high-end proof is sharp and virtually flawless -- a
conditional rarity in this lofty grade. Only one coin is reported
numerically finer -- a PR69 non-Cameo NGC piece. NGC also lists a
few Cameos in PR68, one of which is Plus-graded. Census: 38 in 68
