Description

1952 50C PR67 ★ NGC. The 1952 proof Franklin half dollar, sporting a mintage of 81,980 pieces, can be located with ease in the higher levels of preservation. Superb Gem examples with the Star designation such as the present coin, however, do not show up that frequently. Untoned surfaces display a degree of field-device contrast on both sides, each of which is impeccably preserved. All of the bell lettering shows clearly. Census: 15 in 67 ★ , 4 finer with Star (8/09).(Registry values: N208)
