Description
1960 Half Dollar, PR69 Deep Cameo
Top-Grade Registry Coin
1960 50C PR69 Deep Cameo PCGS. For many Registry Set
collectors, only the finest is acceptable. For the proof 1960
Franklin half dollar, this PR69 Deep Cameo is tied for the finest
at either major grading service -- PCGS reports eight coins in this
grade and NGC six (9/16). We have previously handled a PR69 Deep
Cameo proof on only six occasions, the most recent being a PCGS
coin in our Rosemont Signature sale (Heritage, 8/2013), lot 5682,
which realized $15,275. The present piece is equally stellar in
regards to eye appeal and quality. The strike is full, and the
white-on-black appearance is outstanding. Neither side exhibits any
perceptible blemishes or toning.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# CPES, PCGS# 96701, Greysheet# 6896)
