1961 50C Doubled Die Reverse PR65 ANACS. FS-801. The most dramatic and the most popular of three doubled-die varieties from this date. Deep layers of navy-blue, red-brown, and golden toning inhabit the fields and peripheries of this fully struck Gem proof. The watery fields show deep reflectivity and the surfaces are free of distractions. Some will consider this attractive piece to be undergraded.(Registry values: P2)
