FS-801 Doubled Die Reverse
PR67 1961 Half Dollar
1961 50C Doubled Die Reverse PR67 PCGS. CAC. FS-801.
Cherrypickers' lists three different doubled die reverse
varieties of 1961 halves, but FS-801 is by far the most prominent
and is the variety listed in the Guide Book. Peripheral
letters are very thick and show obvious doubling but the pick-up
point is E PLURIBUS UNUM, which is widely die doubled north.
Immaculate and fully struck with golden-brown toning at the
