Description
Attractive Cameo Proof 1880 Gold Dollar
1880 PR 64. A deeply mirrored, unquestionable proof as evidenced by the lack of porosity at the end of the plumes of the headdress and at the borders. Also lacking the clash marks that are sometimes seen on business strikes. Actually, a splendid little type coin that has very little in the way of surface flaws. The only mentionable imperfections are a couple of light alloy spots on the reverse to the left of the top of the 1 in the denomination.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25EP, PCGS# 7630, GSID# 8178)
