1881 G$1 PR60 NGC. Only 87 proofs were produced this year, but the large number of prooflikes has confused the picture of availability of 1881 proof gold dollars. The mirrored fields have taken on rich orange-gold patina and a mildly scuffy appearance. A few trivial contact marks are noted in the reverse field.
