1885 G$1 Centered Date, JD-1, R.4, PR64 Deep Cameo PCGS.
CAC. Deep, watery fields adorn the sharp, frosty-gold devices
of this near-Gem Deep Cameo proof. CAC endorsement is expected, as
this coin is dripping with eye appeal. The proof 1885 gold dollar
had a substantial mintage of 1,105 pieces, but the proof
survivorship is a small percentage of that, with only 100 to 150
examples know of each of the two varieties. PCGS Population: 7 in
