Description
Deeply Reflective PR63 1886 Gold Dollar
1886 G$1 PR63 PCGS. The 1886 gold dollar has a proof mintage of 1,016 pieces. This places it in the type coin category, and as such it is one of the few proof gold coins available at a relatively modest price. The fields are deeply reflective on both obverse and reverse, and each side is well-matched in overall appearance. The surfaces display deep reddish-gold color with the occasional dab of lilac. A few light hairlines and a couple of contact marks explain the grade.(Registry values: P1)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25EW, PCGS# 7636, GSID# 8196)
