1887 G$1 PR65 Cameo PCGS. A delightful Gem specimen of this later proof gold dollar issue, exquisitely contrasted with remarkable detail. Rich honey-gold color dominates the eye appeal, though occasional glimpses of lemon-gold peek through. Though the last years of the denomination saw heavy proof mintages, well-preserved Cameo coins are elusive.
