1889 Gold Dollar, PR64
Borderline Cameo Proof
1889 G$1 PR64 PCGS. A beautiful near-Gem proof of this
last-year issue in the gold dollar series, this piece shows deep
sunset-orange color with a noticeable cameo effect. Some die
crumbling appears at the C in AMERICA and a curving lintmark is
above DO on the reverse. Post-strike abrasions are insignificant. A
pleasing coin for the grade. Population: 14 in 64, 19 finer
