1842 1/2 C First Restrike, B-2, R.6, PR64 Brown PCGS. CAC.
An impressive Choice proof, this piece exhibits light brown and
iridescent toning with hints of underlying mint red in fully
mirrored fields that surround sharp devices. A steep, high wire rim
is visible from 3 o'clock to 8 o'clock on the reverse. Exemplary
overall, though we note a few unobtrusive steel-gray streaks near
AMERICA and the upper stars. Our EAC grade PR63.From The Ron and Van Clark Collection.
