1852 Half Cent, PR65 Brown
First Restrike, B-2

1852 1/2 C First Restrike PR65 Brown NGC. B-2, R.4. Large date, small berries, doubled T in CENT. Sharply struck with mirrored fields on both sides. Olive and dark chocolate-brown color are intermixed with lighter tan and pale blue highlights. The First Restrike half cents of 1852 are the only generally available examples of this date. This is also the most plentiful variety of all the Proof-only issue Half Cents, with about 100 examples known. Our EAC grade PR63.
