1855 1/2 C PR63 Brown PCGS. C-1, B-1, R.5 as a proof. Ex:
Davy Collection. Sharp definition on the tan devices contrasts
noticeably with the reflective mahogany-brown fields on this Select
proof, with traces of faded red peering through the toning. The
rims are full, wide, and square without any distractions. An
obverse lintmark at star 4 is minor, as is a planchet chip beneath
the 1 in the date, serving to hallmark this attractive proof. Our
EAC grade PR60.Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 6/2016), lot 4263.
