1857 Half Cent, PR64 Brown
Fully Struck, Well-Preserved
1857 1/2 C B-2, R.4, PR64 Brown PCGS. CAC. Ex:
Simpson-Sebastian. An intricately struck specimen with exemplary
surfaces and minimal carbon. The reverse is pink-red with hints of
sea-green and orange-gold. The obverse has a powder-blue field,
though peach-gold, olive-green, and rose-red are also present.
Population: 17 in 64 Brown, 7 finer. CAC: 8 in 64, 2 finer (1/23).Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 517623, Base PCGS# 1332)
