Full Strike, Squared-Off Rims
1857 1/2 C B-2, R.4, PR65 Brown PCGS. The doubled T in CENT
is diagnostic. This Gem proof half cent features deep brown
surfaces with iridescent accents of blue, gold, violet, and rose on
each side. The full strike and broad, squared-off rims are
unmistakable. Population: 6 in 65 (2 in 65+) Brown, 1 finer (1/23).Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 517623, Base PCGS# 1332)
