    Description

1859 1C PR64 Cameo PCGS. An important coin for proof type purposes, this near-Gem is also rare as one of only four Cameo-designated 1859 Cents at PCGS. All features display razor sharp definition over the devices, these features being set atop deep mirrors in the fields. Delicate orange-tan shadings adorn surfaces that would probably grade Gem were it not for a few trivial flecks on the obverse.

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2299, PCGS# 82247)

    Weight: 4.67 grams

    Metal: 88% Copper, 12% Nickel

Had we endeavored to sell it without your support, it would have taken us at least 10 lifetimes, i.e. it would have been impossible.
