Well-Struck Example of This One-Year Subtype
1859 1C PR66 PCGS. This Premium Gem representative displays
rich luster and primarily apricot color. Sharply struck on the
portrait and the laurel wreath, a reverse device used only in 1859.
A few tiny as-made strike-throughs are present, but are not
