    Description

1859 1C PR 66 PCGS. As the premier Indian cent and the only date of this type to display a laurel wreath on the reverse, the 1859 is a perennially popular coin among type collectors. This fortunate survivor is smooth from rim to rim with moderately glowing fields and nicely frosted devices. The color is a rich, original, tan-pink shade. An important bidding opportunity for the advanced collector. Population: 15 in 66, with only one finer.
