1860 1C PR66 PCGS. A flashy Premium Gem that has a precise strike and remarkably smooth surfaces. Light tan-gold overall, with a glimpse of cream-gray on the upper left obverse field. Although the published mintage is 1,000 pieces, researches believe that the majority of the proof production was eventually melted as unsold.
