    Description

    Pleasing Select Proof 1861 Cent

1861 1C PR63 PCGS. Luminous copper-gold surfaces show occasional peach and rose accents. The strike is pleasing, and the overall eye appeal is strong. Despite a comparatively high stated mintage of 1,000 pieces, the 1861 remains elusive and prized among proof Indian cent enthusiasts. PCGS has graded 70 finer examples (5/08).
