Deeply Reflective 1861 Indian Cent, PR64
1861 1C PR64 NGC. Even though the official mintage of proofs for this year is 1,000 pieces, probably no more than 400 pieces were actually sold to collectors. This piece has uncommonly deep mirrors in the fields, as many 1861 proofs are shallowly mirrored. A couple of small spots are seen on each side which limit the grade.
