One of several high grade proof 1861 Cents that we are offering in this sale, both sides are tinged in olive-brown color through which appreciable brightness is evident at direct angles. Expectantly sharp for a specimen striking, the features are (the present auction notwithstanding) exceptionally well preserved for the issue with not a single distracting blemish to report.
