1862 1C PR65 PCGS. The original "white" surfaces have mellowed slightly, with an even overlay of tan patina. A few tiny specks of carbon can be found with a magnifier on each side. The most frequently encountered date in the copper-nickel series and thus an obvious choice for a type set.(Registry values: N2998)
