    Description

Exceptionally Smooth 1862 Proof Indian Cent

1862 1C PR 66 PCGS. This carefully preserved proof belongs in either a high quality type set or an advanced Indian cent collection. The color is honey-tan in shade with blushes of olive patina over the central obverse. The proper angle reveals modest cameo contrast, but the sharply struck features and smooth surfaces are readily evident with even the most casual glance.
