    Description

    1863 1C PR64 PCGS. A well struck near-Gem that has dark yellow-green fields and bright tan-gold devices. The obverse has a few tiny planchet flaws which are as struck. The cheek is essentially pristine. The reverse is lightly strike doubled. A lovely early proof Cent from a surprisingly scarce issue. Population: 59 in 64, 35 finer (3/02).
