Desirable 1863 Gem Cameo Proof Indian Cent

1863 1C PR65 Cameo PCGS. Out of the 460 proofs struck in 1863, it is reliably estimated that today no more than 150 pieces have survived in all grades. The fields are deeply mirrored and the devices are heavily frosted which gives the coin a noticeable cameo appearance on each side. Population: 7 in 65 Cameo, 5 finer (3/04).(#82262) (Registry values: N4719)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 229D, PCGS# 82262)
