    1863 1C PR65 NGC. The 1863 is the third scarcest issue in the copper-nickel series with an original mintage of only 460 pieces. This is a splendid, deeply mirrored example that has even, bright red surfaces and no carbon spots. An outstanding Gem proof. Population: 28 in 65, 6 finer (4/03).
