1863 Cent, Sharply Struck PR66 Cameo
1863 1C PR66 Cameo NGC. CAC. The two major grading services have certified 313 proof 1863 Indian cents, only 58 of which have been designated Cameos. The majority of these are Gem and lower numeric grades. Only 14 examples are Premium Gem Cameo and three finer. The beige-tan surfaces of this PR66 are visited by whispers of orange-gold and olive on the reverse. Excellent contrast shows on both sides, each of which is sharply struck, save for softness in the lowest diamond.
