    High Grade (PR66) 1863 Copper-Nickel Cent

    1863 1C PR66 PCGS. The 1863 has a low mintage of only 460 proofs and a correspondingly low availability. The whitish-gray surfaces are evenly matched from side to side, and the fields are unusually deep in their reflectivity. Kept from an even higher grade by the presence of a couple of lint marks on the face of the Native American. Population: 7 in 66, 1 finer (10/03).
