    1864 1C Bronze No L PR67 Brown PCGS. Ex: The Larry Shepherd Collection. Proof cents from this year are normally encountered in copper-nickel. Bronze specimens, of which two types exist (No L and With L), are elusive. Production estimates for this variety range from 150 to 300 pieces. A uniform layer of rich blue toning covers both sides. Speckled magenta color is interspersed, an effect commonly seen among proof Indian Head cents.
