1864 1C Copper-Nickel PR65 NGC. One of two Gem proof examples of this popular, final-year issue in the Copper-Nickel series. Moderately reflective in the fields, the honey-tan surfaces show a slight accent of reddish patina in the fields that is quite appealing. A few carbon spots are present on each side.
