Description

1864 Copper-Nickel Cent, PR66
Good Reflectivity, Attractive Color

1864 1C Copper-Nickel PR66 PCGS. The 1864 and 1862 are the best-produced and most frequently used copper-nickel cents. And for obvious reasons. They are by far the best-produced dates in this short and highly collectible series. The fields on this piece are deeply reflective and each side shows a reddish accent of color over the otherwise gray-tan color of the copper-nickel alloy. Fully struck, as one would expect, with no mentionable flaws. Population: 8 in 66, 2 finer (12/13).(Registry values: N4719)
