Description

1865 1C PR64 Red PCGS. Eagle Eye Photo Seal. The color is exceptionally vibrant on both sides with original crimson-orange shadings that are particularly praiseworthy in the centers. With razor sharp striking definition and glowing surfaces that are fully brought up in all areas, this coin has the eye appeal of an even higher grade. A few swirls of steel-gray color are noted here and there, but they are only really appreciable under a loupe. Population: 14 in 64 Red, 9 finer (9/14).(Registry values: N2998)
