Description
1865 1C PR64 Red PCGS. A dusting of deep red patina covers the otherwise bright orange surfaces. The fields appear deeply mirrored when put under a lamp, and there are virtually no abrasions on either side save for a tiny lint mark by Liberty's ear. A couple of nearly microscopic flecks limit the grade. Approximately 500 proofs were minted.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 229H, PCGS# 2284, GSID# 1495)
