Splendid 1868 Cent, PR65 Red Cameo

1868 1C PR65 Red Cameo PCGS. This splendid piece is clearly at the high end of survivors, both in terms of color and surface quality. The carbon-free faces offer lots of field-device contrast, with pretty green-tinged almond-tan coloration and a bold strike, right up to the feather tips. The reverse is rotated about 30 degrees counterclockwise. Population: 3 in 65 Red Cameo, 2 finer (3/09).(Registry values: P4)
