Stunning 1868 Red Gem Proof Cent
1868 1C PR65 Red PCGS. Beautiful copper-gold color exhibits lime-green and rose accents in the fields, which along with their mirrors yield a noticeable contrast with the motifs, especially when the coin is tilted under a light source. Exquisitely struck throughout. The reverse is inverted nearly 180 degrees. A few tiny obverse flecks do not detract in the least.
