    Description

    1870 1C PR65 Red and Brown PCGS. A razor-sharp strike seems to have brought up every detail of the design, and rich mottled patina blankets each side, in attractively variegated colors. A tiny planchet depression (as struck), and an even smaller contact mark, reside on the Indian's cheek. The reverse is well preserved, with a blemish between the O and N of CENT as the only possible distraction. Population: 29 in 65, 6 finer (12/04).(#2298) (Registry values: N1793)
