1871 Indian Cent, PR66 Red
One of the Finest Certified

1871 1C Cent PR66 Red PCGS. Shallow N. It is seldom that an early Indian cent is found with bright, intact mint luster as seen on this piece. It is even rarer still that such a full red coin is found in PR66. When the population data from PCGS and NGC are combined only five such pieces have been certified and none are finer (8/10). The fields are bright and moderately reflective, and the surfaces are virtually contact-free. Population: 3 in 66 Red, 0 finer (8/10).
