    1873 1C Closed 3 PR65 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. While the Closed 3 business strike 1873 Indian cents are sometimes difficult to differentiate from their Open 3 counterparts, the proof variant was only struck with the Closed 3 logotype, making identification swift. This Gem Red and Brown example displays nearly full red color, with just a few tiny specks discernable upon close examination. The strike is sharp and the fields are moderately reflective. Population: 43 in 65 Red and Brown, 7 finer (12/14).(Registry values: N1793)
