Great Circulation Strike Alternative
1877 1C PR64 Brown PCGS. The 1877 (852,500 coins) is
well-known to students of American numismatics as the key date in
the Indian Head cent series. High-grade circulation strikes are
exceedingly elusive to obtain, and many collectors opt instead for
a well-preserved proof. Mintage estimates range from 900 to 1,500
specimens. Ice-blue and olive-brown hues intermix over each side.
Glossy, reflective fields offer few noticeable imperfections. An
