Description
1877 Cent, PR64 Red and Brown
Scarce Proof Mintage
1877 1C PR64 Red and Brown PCGS. This near-Gem displays a
medley of yellow-gold, light green, violet, and reddish-tan patina
over both sides, each of which reveals a degree of contrast when
the coin is in hand. This exquisitely struck piece is devoid of
mentionable marks or spots and demonstrates remarkable appeal. Only
900 proof Indian cents were struck in 1877 and finding an example
finer than this Choice Uncirculated proof will be a difficult task.
