Description

1877 Cent, PR65 Brown
Eye-Catching Color

1877 1C PR65 Brown PCGS. Any Indian Head cent bearing the famous 1877 date is highly desirable. Proofs often stand in for their elusive high-grade counterparts. This Gem Brown proof is spectacularly patinated on each side. The obverse is particularly vibrant with blended purple-pink, sea-green, and ice-blue coloring. Similar hues paint the reverse as well. The fields are flashy, and signs of contact are very scarce.(Registry values: N2998)
