    Description

1877 Indian Cent, PR65 Red and Brown
    Significant Mint Red Color

1877 1C PR65 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. The proof variant of this sought-after key issue, ideal for the collector seeking a high-quality date representative without breaking the bank for a Mint State circulation strike. This Gem proof is largely golden-orange in color, but with soft auburn and violet overtones that contribute to the Red and Brown color designation. The strike is full and the fields are mirrored. A few stray specks do not detract. CAC-approved in an old green label holder. Population: 74 in 65 Red and Brown, 6 finer (5/15).(Registry values: N4719)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 229W, PCGS# 2319)
