High-End Key Date, Iridescent Patina
1877 1C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Smooth copper-brown
surfaces reveal iridescent shades of blue and golden-orange patina
when this Premium Gem cent is rotated under a light source. Strike
definition is predictably razor-sharp for a proof, and eye appeal
is terrific. The 1877 serves as the singular key to the Indian Head
cent series. High-grade circulation strikes are often out of reach
for most collectors, who may choose to opt for a beautifully
preserved and attractive proof instead. Only 900 pieces were
